What Results Can I Expect From Hymenoplasty?
Once healed, women who undergo hymenoplasty will have an intact hymen, similar to the one they were born with. It will tear and bleed when penetrated or ruptured. It should be noted that it does not restore virginity, but it does restore the physical state associated with virginity. And this can help the patient come to terms with her sense of self and some sensitive cultural requirements.
